Mining: China's deadly mining industry claims more victims

China's deadly mining industry continues to claim the lives of workers. Eighteen miners have been killed and 57 trapped underground in two separate coal mine accidents in China.

An explosion at Linjiazhuang mine in Jinzhong city, Shanxi province, killed 18 and trapped 39. In Guizhou province, 18 miners were trapped in a flooded mine at Pianpoyuan in Ziyun Miao Buyi county.
