Bilateral Trade: Iran inaugurates car assembly plant in Belarus

The Iranian Minister of Industries, Ali-Reza Tahmasbi, has inaugurated a new assembly plant for Iranian-designed cars in the Belorussian capital of Minsk.

The assembly line for "Samands," made by Iran's Khodro Industrial Group, was inaugurated in the Unison Company in Minsk on Friday.

The plant will assemble up to 1,000 of the Iranian-designed cars by the end of the year and up to 6,000 by next year.
