Nepal: This may not be an earth shattering story but I am quite happy to give this alleged swindler a bit of additional exposure.The Himalayan Times reports that The Bardiya District Administration Office has begun a search for the chairperson of the Bardiya Development Forum (BDF), Dan Bahadur Shahi, who has absconded after allegedly swindling money meant for the construction of a school building for the children of freed kamaiyas (bonded labourers) and supplying water to them.
Free bonded labourers involved in construction works said Shahi had not paid them their wages.
As I said, not an earth shattering story - but it is for his poor bloody victims.
