Education: Azerbaijan students leave for the U.S as part of FLEX program

The State Information Agency of Azerbaijan Republic, reports 28 winners of the contest held in Azerbaijan within the framework of the Future Leaders Exchange program, will leave for the USA on August 14.

FLEX is the program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and American Council for Collaboration in Education and Language Study. The program is designed for high school age students (ages 15-17) from Eurasia and the winners will spend a year in the United States, living with a family and attending a U.S. high school.

I have an interest in this story as I know someone in the U.S. who was host to a student from Azerbaijan.
