According to industry sources, Apple Computer has slashed its the workforce at its Taiwan sales office by 30-40%, including many executives and managers.Weaker sales and market share achieved by Apple Taiwan, compared to the performance of Apple's Hong Kong branch are said to be responsible for the reduction.
Apple declined to comment on the report.
