International Development: Ethiopia gets $289 million loan and grant package from World Bank

Ethiopia is to receive $289.7 million in loan and grant agreements courtesy of the World Bank.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED), Ethiopia received $274.70 million in the form of loan and the balance in the form of grant.

The ministry said the money will be used to finance four different development projects, the bulk going to the Rural Electricity Access Expansion project.
