Middle East Conflict: Swiss adults disappointed with Israel

According to a poll conducted by Isopublic. 70.9 per cent of Swiss adults are disappointed with the way the Israeli government has acted, and believe the country does not have the right to attack its enemies outside its territory.

The poll involved telephone interviews with 1,004 Swiss voters, and was conducted from Aug. 4 to Aug. 7

In reference to Security Council Resolution 1701, the Swiss ambassador to the UN, Blaise Godet said: "We are not enthusiastic about the result, which we consider to be asymmetrical and unbalanced. But is still contains certain elements that we agree with."
