Iceland's Minister for Foreign Affairs Valgerdur Sverrisdottir, has announced that Icelanders would continue to act as peacekeepers in Sri Lanka and that their numbers would increase from 4-5 to 10.Norway and Iceland currently head peacekeeping there and were Iceland to pull out, the Ministry believes it would seriously jeopardize safety in the country.
