Shipping: China's HPH set to run Ecuador's Manta port

China's Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) has offered to invest $468 million in exchange for a 30-year concession to run Ecuador's Manta port.

Manta port authorities will approve the concession on Sept. 8, the port's president, Trajano Andrade, told Reuters.

HPH is part of Hong Kong conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.
