The Kuwait News Agency reports that Afghanistan's first telecom company Roshan, has signed a landmark agreement with the Asian Development Bank, the Standard Bank, and other international institutions for a loan of $65 million dollars. This is the first cross-border loan for Afghanistan .
Roshan will use the money to extend its services to the remote parts of Afghanistan.
Bloody marvellous, they can improve services in remote parts of Afghanistan, but Australia's Telstra can't improve services in rural Australia.
