The beauty of surveys

Shortened blog for the next few days (explained here)

Regular readers of this blog will know how fond I am of surveys and statistics. There may be many who scoff at some of the conclusions drawn by such surveys, but they do have their place. In fact - this particular survey could prove a life saver!

The Japanese eat little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Australians or New Zealanders. The French eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks than Aussies or Kiwis. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and also suffer fewer heart attacks than Australians and New Zealanders.

This proves beyond doubt that you can eat and drink what you like - its speaking English that kills you!

Which is probably why so many shop assistants here refuse to do so.

Wherever you may be - be safe!
