Iran's Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Training, Kamran Baqeri-Lankarani, has said Iran has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sudan on expansion of medical cooperation - particularly in the field of education.The MoU was signed on the sidelines of 53rd Session of WHO's Regional Committee (RC) for East Mediterranean in Isfahan, said the minister.
He told IRNA, that since Iran is quite capable in medical sciences, many of the 22 countries in the region have called on Iran to grant scholarships to their university students in medical sciences.
