Chilean Foreign Minister Alejandro Foxley and his Bolivian counterpart David Choquehuanca, held talks on Thursday on the sidelines of the 61st United Nations General Assembly meeting.
A statement issued by Chile's Foreign Ministry, said that Foxley had said the confidence building process between the two nations "has been good in this first phase - getting to know each other better and becoming able to speak frankly about all the topics on the agenda, without formality."
The two ministers agreed to hold a second meeting, which would include the working groups, junior ministers and consuls, to asses the work that would be done in the next few months, the statement added.
