Bilateral Relations: Malaysia responds to Singapore's race comments

Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak, has denied Malaysia has mistreated its ethnic Chinese minority. The denial follows criticism from former Singapore leader Lee Kuan Yew.

On Friday, Lee told a forum, "Our neighbours both have problems with their Chinese. They are successful. They are hard-working and therefore they are systemically marginalised."

Razak said, "It's a comment that we can do without. It is not appreciated at all."
