Gas Prices: Vietnamese government cut gasoline prices

The Vietnamese government has cut gasoline prices by VND1,000 (US$0.06) per litre following a drop in the price of crude oil. The decision was approved by Trade Minister Truong Dinh Tuyen, on Tuesday.

The government had raised prices by VND1,000 on August 6 when global prices were ruled high.Import tariffs on petroleum products and retail prices of kerosene and diesel remain unchanged.
