Sydney has managed to achieve having one of the wettest Septembers on record, and also one of the hottest!Yesterday was the first time in 99 years that temperatures have exceeded 30 centigrade (86 fah) on three consecutive days. Today with very strong hot winds, the bushfire season has started early.
My apartment building is set in gardens with large trees, bushes, a ground covering of woodchips and dead bark from the trees. Also, despite the fact I have been trying to get the strata managers and Owner's Commission, to do something about the guttering since last January, as you can see the guttering has its own little eco system.
The photo was taken in July and of course the growth has flourished in those two months.
On top of that, the suburb has seen an influx of young idiots, including the ones who went around last night with bloody firecrackers!
I did intend posting a full blog today, (ten posts) but the weather is getting more threatening and its time to put a few systems in place!
