International Relations: Iraq signs security protocol with neighbours

Iraq and neighbouring countries have signed a security cooperation protocol.

The protocol includes the issues of cooperation in security fields, particularly combating terrorism, infiltration and organized crime.

The protocol was signed by interior ministers of countries neighbouring Iraq, in addition to interior ministers of Egypt, and Bahrain. Also involved were representatives of Organization of Islamic Congress, the Arab League and UN General Secretariat representative.
