The Russian government has extended temporary import duties on a number of goods until June 30, 2007. The announcement was published on the government website on Thursday.
The resolution involves certain types of footwear, grain and silage combines, certain types of equipment, iron and steel roll, natural and enriched uranium, certain types of metals, ores and concentrates, equipment for the aviation industry and certain types of raw materials.
Also affected will be certain types of transport vehicles that are older than five years, components for washing machines, certain types of lamps (except for ultraviolet lamps) and electrodes.
