Aviation: Gulf Air seeking partnership with Saudi Arabian Airlines

Gulf Air has announced it is studying the possibility of establishing a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabian Airlines. The airline is seeking to increase its international flights to Gulf destinations from several airports in the Kingdom as part of its expansion of operations in the Gulf region.

Fareed Al Alawi, vice-president, Gulf Air said discussions between the two airline companies are currently under way. He added that cooperation would increase the commercial choices for both Arab air carriers as well as reducing cost spending.
