The Kuwaiti army has issued a statement saying it would not participate in any military action that provokes neighbouring countries. "The naval forces will not participate in any provocative military action," the statement said.The army's statement follows news reports quoting a source at the Iranian foreign ministry as saying that military drills to be conducted by forces from Kuwait, Bahrain and the U.S. were "dangerous and have special political and security objectives."
