The Saudi Arabian envoy to Pakistan has said his country would build 4,000 pre-fabricated houses for homeless victims of earthquake-affected areas in Pakistan. The total cost of the project would be 16.7 million U.S. dollars.
Ali Awadh Aseeri told a news conference that the weather-protected houses would be built in Balakot, one of the worst-hit cities in last year's Oct. 8 earthquake, and would have a life-span of 20 years.
