International Relations: Japan, China and South Korea plan summit

Japan, China and South Korea are considering a three-way summit during next month's planned Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Hanoi.

The Chosun Ilbo daily said leaders of Japan, the United States and South Korea on the occasion of the APEC forum summit may also get together.

The report also said the United States is pushing for a summit with Japan, South Korea, China and Russia but China is sceptical about the proposal.
