Women's Issues: Ontario to allow washrooms to be licensed

I must admit that when I first heard that Ontario plans to change liquor laws to allow people to take drinks into washrooms, I thought, "Huh?" Just goes to show I am getting old!

Government Services Minister Gerry Phillips explains the reason: "Patrons will never have to leave their drinks unattended and risk someone slipping them drugs or otherwise tainting their beverage."

Under current laws women have been easy targets of ratbags slipping date rape drugs into unattended drinks.
