Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki has met with Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to Iran, Gopinath Pillai.During the meeting the two officials underlined the necessity of expanding bilateral political, cultural, and economic cooperation. Mottaki said Singapore can play an active role in regional developments, particularly with the cooperation of Islamic countries.
Pillai said strengthening of relations with Iran is one of Singapore's main priorities.
