Relations between Uganda and Rwanda are improving according to Rwanda's ambassador, Kamali Karyegyesa. He said this will foster harmonious bi-lateral relations and national development efforts between the two countries.The New Times of Rwanda quotes him as saying, "relationships between the two countries have improved, shown by the frequent visits of the leading statesmen of Rwanda and Uganda to the two respective countries.” adding, "when the presidents of Rwanda and Uganda visited each other, the courtesy calls show a friendly atmosphere".
