Bilateral Trade: Iran exports $700 million to Iraq in the first seven months of the year

Iran exported goods worth around $700 million to Iraq during the first seven months of the year (Iranian calendar year started March 21). The figure posts a 19 percent increase in value compared with the same period last year.

Mehr News Agency reports mineral water, soft drinks, various detergents and washing powders, biscuits, Swamp coolers and other home appliances as well as farm products such as pistachios, fresh or dried tomatoes and fruits, in particular apples, accounted for 28 percent of Iran's major items of export to Iran.
