Defense: Iran willing to sell anti-aircraft weapons to Lebanon

Iran's ambassador to Beirut has said his country was prepared to supply anti-aircraft weapons to the Lebanese armed forces.

Mohammad Reza Sheibani, said "Iran is ready to supply modern anti-aircraft arms to Lebanon," following talks with Lebanon's army chief, Michel Sleiman, in Beirut on Saturday.

According to IRNA, Sheibani also called on "Lebanese political groups to maintain their unity to foil plots" of Israel and the US.
