Education. Cuba launches project to teach English by computer

According to local sources, millions of Cubans could learn English by computer through a new system that will come into effect this month.

The national director of Computing and Electronic Youth Club Movement (JCCE) Raul Van Troi told the press there will be two laboratories in each province aimed to teach this language 24 hours a day.

Van Troi stated the service will become wider in every one of the 169 Cuban municipalities on March 2007.

Perhaps we could have a similar system to teach those living in Australia how to speak English.
