The Federal Nuclear Power Agency (Rosatom) has announced that Russia intends to increase the price for the enriched uranium it supplies for Ukraine's nuclear power plants in 2007.A spokesman for the agency said, "We have agreed [with Ukraine] to revise prices annually...since spot prices on uranium have increased several times, the price for uranium fuel for Ukrainian NPPs will be revised correspondingly."
