The Dubai Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has inducted 95 UAE national women as security screeners at Dubai International Airport (DIA).
The women were trained for two months at the Dubai Police Academy before their induction into the security team as security screeners. The training module comprised all aspects of their job as security personnel who would screen passengers and baggage entering the airport premises.
"Gulf Today" reports the airport has achieved 100 per cent nationalisation in the security positions that are now reserved for the UAE nationals.
