Security: Yemen investigates reports of explosives seized by Indonesian police

The German Press Agency reports that Yemen is investigating reports that a shipment of 63 tons of explosive materials has been seized in Indonesia,allegedly bound for Yemen. Indonesian police found the 63-ton shipment on a Chinese vessel bound for Yemen.

Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu-Bakr al-Qerbi told media, "Our ministry is still inspecting the incident, and we have yet to get solid information about the shipment and its destination."

According to the reports, the ship was carrying one container filled with detonators and five others packed with 63 tons of explosive powder.
