Tourism: Ad campaign aimed at rebranding Syria

Syria's Tourism Minister Saadallah al-Qalaa, has announced a marketing campaign aimed at attracting westerners to its archaeological treasures in an effort to change its image as a pariah state.

Advertisements in western media next year will brand Syria as a stable and tolerant nation with diverse nature, a rich heritage and unique architecture, al-Qalaa said.
