Australia's Trade Minister Warren Truss, has said that Australia will begin talks aimed at reaching a free trade agreement (FTA) with a number of Persian Gulf states as soon as possible.The negotiations will be with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
