Tonight's photo: The monorail and Pyrmont Bridge. Taken last Sunday
Pyrmont Bridge is one of my favourite Sydney landmarks. The bridge opened in 1902 to replace the original 1857 wooden structure, and is the world's oldest surviving electrically operated swingspan bridge.
The cruise ship in the background is the P&O liner, "Pacific Sun". To the left you can see an Australian Nay destroyer and submarine - part of the Maritime Museum.
As for the banners - they are Christmas decorations emblazoned with the word "Christmas" to distinguish them from the usual promotional banners!
Wherever you may be - be safe
