Human Rights: Police raid office of former chess champion Gary Kasparov

Russian Counter-terrorist police have raided the Moscow offices of a political organization headed by former world chess champion Garry Kasparov.

The police seized books and printed materials promoting a march against President Vladimir V. Putin, according to news reports and Mr. Kasparov. No one was arrested and no charges were filed in the raid, which lasted more than an hour.
