Zimbabwe is to receive $87,000 from the United Nations World Food Programme as part of the food aid to seven Southern African countries.
The Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, Cde Nicholas Goche, yesterday said WFP head Mr James Morris had written to him about the programmes and activities WFP wanted to carry out in Zimbabwe.
"Mr Morris is coming soon to discuss the World Food Programme (activities) and has agreed to fund some programmes meant to assist vulnerable people especially the aged, disabled, those with large families and children among others," said Cde Goche.
And we all know the reality of who benefits from such aid.
