Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has announced that the next summit of the five Caspian Sea littoral states will be held in Tehran in the first quarter of 2007.Speaking to the press in the Kazakh capital Astana, Mottaki said he had submitted an official invitation to the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, to take part in the summit.
According to press reports Nazarbayev welcomed the invitation.
