Fraud: Kuwait court sentences Jordanian national to 250 years in jail

A court in Kuwait has jailed a Jordanian national for 250 years. He was accused of stealing $1million while posing as a policeman, according to local media.

The man identified only as Hamdan, was arrested in February last year and has been on trial for the past several months on 73 separate charges.

There are more charges pending and it is expected the sentence will be increased.
