Tonight's photo: In My Day We Had Proper BreadI won't be publishing the blog today, but as I have had some very nice responses to last night's photo. I thought I would post another to keep the blog "alive." This photo was taken a few weeks ago, in the same place as last night's.
There are apartment blocks in the reserve and many people like to feed the birds - especially the cockatoos. It is quite common to look up and see a hand sticking out of a barely open window holding a piece of bread for the cockies. Knowing where to go and at what time, they line up on the window ledge waiting for their "McTweeties" to open.
