Security: Japan teams with Malaysia and Thailand in anti-piracy exercise

A patrol vessel from Japan's Coast Guard will participate in a joint anti-piracy exercise with Malaysian and Thai marine enforcement agencies, Malaysia's national news agency Bernama has reported.

The patrol vessel Yashima will be participating in the joint exercise on Feb. 2 in Thai waters, Bernama quoted a statement issued by the Japanese Embassy as saying.
