Tonight's photo: The wharf in the grounds of a boys' school.
As previously explained the blog will be posted every other day for a short while. But I will post a photo on the "off-days".
This is another of my favourite spots - the wharf in the grounds of a private boys school on the Lane Cove River. The grounds are open to the public and I like to walk along the bush-track bordering the river, then sit right on the end of the wharf. I close my eyes and let the wind blow through my mind and my soul. I then picture myself strumming a guitar and singing, "Sitting on the dock of the bay"!
If I look to the left, the towering skyscrapers of Sydney loom in the distance - the river forming a long and winding road to their door. Opposite is the affluent suburb of Hunter's Hill, which also stretches away to my right.
The walk there is easy - trying to start the walk back is hard!
Wherever you may be - be safe!
