Retail: Wal-Mart to recall 1.8 million gas lighters

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and CFM U.S. Corp., are recalling an estimated 1.8 million multi-purpose gas lighters that failed to ship with a safety warning in English. The multi-purpose butane lighters were sold under the brand name, The Grill Care Company.

The lighters were manufactured in China and sold at Wal-Mart retail stores in the United States from February 2006 through January 2007 for between $1 and $4.
