Women's Issues: Iran Chamber of Commerce establishes council to promote female economic activists'

The Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) has announced it has established a council to promote women economic activists' activities, the ICCIM.

The council officially started work in a bid to boost women's economic activities and presence in the international trade arena that helps them exchange views with their counterparts in Muslim countries.

The council also aims at promoting women's status in economic and commercial fields, setting up a center for economic consultation and education, and holding workshops for training in a modern trade environment.
