This is Bradley's Head, situated on the northern side of Sydney Harbour and part of Sydney Harbour National Park. Not only is it a beautiful spot set in a bushland environment - it has helped me make major decisions in my life.
As long ago as 1988, I would sit on the end of the jetty letting the wind blow away the clutter in my mind that acted like an obstacle course to clear thinking. I have thought about love, I have thought about work - and thought about being alive.
When I sat there the other day I realised that for the first time I could sit there and let the wind do just a quick bit of dusting instead of a major clean up operation. I have my health and I have love - after that the rest just falls into place.
