Photo: Taken in Martin Place, in Sydney's Central Business DistrictThere are two things about this photo that amused me.
Just after I took it another police car came roaring up Martin Place, (a car-free area) lights flashing, siren wailing and pulled up alongside the "paddywagon" and ambulance. A young girl stopped me and asked if I thought it was safe to go into the building!
It's probably not visible on the smaller photo, (click to enlarge) but on the door of the paddywagon is a small notice advertising the "Crimestoppers" telephone number. Personally I am not too sure if anyone under arrest and being placed in the paddywagon would be likely to use it!
