It's me again Gerry McCann

Hope you don't mind me asking you a few more questions Gerry McCann, (sorry, I just can't bring myself to call you "Mr" for some reason) but as you don't answer any of the hard questions anyway, it's not as though I am wasting your time.

Don't get me wrong - I do not blame you for avoiding difficult questions. After all, when the German media asked you an awkward but valid question, you looked more shaken than at any other time since you virtually put a flashing neon sign on your daughter's bedroom saying, "Unsupervised children". Was there anyone in the resort who didn't know you left your kids alone?

But I digress, that wasn't one of the questions I wanted to ask. The thing that puzzles me is that you are a cardiologist. Now, forgive me for sounding naive but when you perform an operation, I would have thought you needed to prepare in advance. I mean we wouldn't want anything going wrong now would we?

Perhaps you check the patients previous medical history, look at all the things that can potentially go wrong during an operation. I bet you are meticulous and careful in your planning. Wouldn't do to have a patient dying on you because you failed to address a foreseeable issue.

So here is my question, if you take that much care to address foreseeable issues with your patients, on the night you and wife went to dinner, would it have been that...

Gerry? Gerry?

Damn, he forgot to close the door on his way out.
