Some of you are not going to like this, but I have to speak to my mind. Women can be a little bit - strange.
Take this morning for example. Sydney is in the midst of its coldest winter for over two decades with temperatures below zero at times. This morning I saw a young girl donned in a fur hat, gloves, thick long scarf, heavy jacket over a woollen jumper - and guess what - a mini skirt!
Considering the length of the skirt - or lack of it, from what I could see she may not have known where the icy blast was coming from - but she'd sure as hell know where it was going! To make matters worse she was heading towards an aluminium bench - which even on a warm day can be bloody cold to sit on.
In the words of Rex Harrison (My Fair Lady?) Why can't a woman be more like a man. Come to think of it - why can't Gerry?
But that's not all that worried me. How come I noticed her hat and coat and hoped she was wearing warm woollen undies, before I noticed the mini skirt!
Life is like television. One day you're one of "The Likely Lads" the next you're "Last of The Summer Wine"!
