The Grubs: Come on Louise

I really don't mind being insulted or criticised - as I have said before, if I go public with my thoughts then I am fair game. But it would be really nice if just once, I could be insulted by someone without training wheels.

Take this email from Louise, (being a gentleman and a scholar, I wont publish the ladies second name or email address). Louise asks a numbers of questions which as you will find out, I am apparently not allowed to answer.

To save others like Louise asking me the same questions, I will however, answer them now.

"I for one am appalled by the way you have wriiten your blogs regarding the McCanns. it has just taken me a few minutes to ascertain this. Why do you call Gerry Mr Grub? How do you know they CONTINUOUSLY neglected their children? Do you live with them? How is any of it helping Madeleine? Why do you think any of her family would take the time to respond to you in particular expecially when you are totally disrespectful of them? Who are you to them? Are you assisting the investigation?No, you are simply pouring as much negativity on the situation as you deem fit at a time when the MCcanns are dealing with the consequences of their decision that evening, and without knowing the full facts, just like the rest of us. All we know is what the media decide to report. You are 51, you should know better. They do not know whether she is dead or alive at this stage. How truelly uncompassionate you are to see fit to write what you do. If you are perfect, never have been wrong, never made a mistake, never felt pain or sadness, then I take this a;ll back. but like the rest of us, you can not say that. You should be totally ashamed of yourself. "

"I have asked questions in this email to raise my points. Please do not respond to me. I doubt you will anyway even though you expect an anguished family to make time for you. What arrogance you have. "

What do you think? 4/10 perhaps?

I have two blogs - the other is a photoblog where the only McCann related entries have been posted by McCann supporters wishing me AIDS, and making suggestions that even if I were that way inclined, I am too bloody knackered to do anyway.

And ten minutes to spell "ascertain" no doubt. I am glad you take time to conduct thorough research before making informed decisions.

Why do you call Mr McCann, Gerry? Mr Grub is rather appropriate in the circumstances.

Because my little cherub, it has been widely reported in mainstream media - including Pro-McCann media - which is pretty much all embracing, that the children were constantly left unattended. This fact has never been denied by anyone associated with Team McCann. In addition, Rent-A-Mouth told media, "they don't do it much at home" which of course means - they do.

"Do you live with them?"

Of course not. I am still here.

"How is any of it helping Madeleine?"

As opposed to the roaring success of dinner parties, shuttling people back and forth to the airport, selling wristbands, setting up boxes to take from the poor to give to the rich, yellow and green balloons, hiring campaign managers, having a new hairdo, buying new jewellery....shall I go on?

"Are you assisting the investigation?"

No. But I understand the McCanns have been.

"All we know is what the media decide to report"

You mean such as Mr and Mrs Grub being ideal role models for all parents? I take it you are referring to British media - as overseas media report far more than appears in The Sun.

"You are 51, you should know better"

And the McCanns are doctors who have sworn oaths to save lives - not deliberately put them at risk - they should know better. Incidentally, what is thing about age with you people?

Oh I see - it's quite OK for you to make assumptions but not anyone else. I reply to everyone who emails me - usually within 24 hours. I even responded to you by email.

I do not expect an anguished family to make time for me - I am talking about the McCanns.

It's funny, I have been called all sorts of names - but not once have "they" called me a liar. Nor have "they" made any attempt to refute anything I have said.
