I allege!

Some people have alleged that I use the word "allege" because I am a "coward". I wonder what "they" would make of this news release from the NSW Police. I have permission to publish such releases bur because the matter is before the courts, I can not comment on the incident. However, I think you will get my point:).

Man arrested and charged after alleged assault an elderly man – Coffs Harbour Police arrested a man after he allegedly assaulted an 87-year-old man at Coffs Harbour earlier this week. About 10.45am on Tuesday 10 July, 2007, the 87-year-old Coffs Harbour man was walking along Harbour Drive when it is alleged he became involved in a verbal argument with a man on a pushbike. It’s further alleged the man parked his pushbike and returned to the man punching him to the head and face..."

I would love to see one of "them" calling a burly NSW copper, a coward!
