One more quickie!

OK, had my wine and off to bed! However...:)

Anyone following the McCann issue will know my penchant for using the word "allege" and why I do so. However, there are times when the use of the word does seem somewhat inappropriate to say the least. Especially if as in this example - you have seen the footage. The following is the alert I received from the NSW Police Media Unit.

Man charged after phone towers damaged - Western Sydney

A man will face court today after a number of mobile phone towers in Sydney's west were allegedly destroyed by an armoured personnel carrier this morning. Police from Mt Druitt Local Area Command were patrolling Sterling Road at Minchinbury about 2am when they allegedly discovered the armoured vehicle destroying an electricity substation. Officers followed the tank through several suburbs, including Mt Druitt, Dharruk, Emerton, Glendenning and Plumpton. The armoured personnel carrier brought down a number of mobile
phone towers and relay sheds.

I received an email from an ad agency with a subject line that horrified me.

"Applebee's Hands $175 Mil Account to McCann"

Thankfully, not THE McCann! Although nothing would surprise me any more
